Description:  A one day course (6 hours, .6 CEU’s) examining in-depth concepts and principles of legal issues that affect code officials in the administration of their duties.

 Course Description

This one-day training class provides more in depth information for the effective administration and enforcement of the codes, including powers and duties of the code official, foreclosure, unsafe structures, overcrowding, hoarding, rental inspections, and right of entry and administrative search warrants. Also discussed will be effective techniques for enforcement, using the zoning ordinance to obtain compliance, and the utilization of internet databases for corporate, LLC and real estate records.
