Description:
A one day (6 contact hours, 0.6 CEU’s) class designed to assist the Residential Building, Commercial Building, or Fire Inspector in identifying the various types of membrane and through penetrations and different construction joints along with the applicable firestopping treatment options available. The UL Directory will be discussed in detail contributing to effective identification and navigation for the selection of Certified Designs for the appropriate penetration treatment. Class activities will include identification of the various tools available for identification and inspection of the penetrations as well as hands-on scenarios identifying penetrations routed through different rated assemblies made of various building materials.
