This two-day package includes both (1) Fire Rated Assemblies of the 2015 IBC and (2) Fire Resistance Construction Requirements

Day 1 provides: A comprehensive and detailed explanation of fire-resistive requirements as specified in the model building codes.

Day 2 provides: Guidance on how to use the UL Fire Resistance Directory. Students will be presented with the tools to identify and interpret regulations for firewalls, fire barriers, and shaft enclosures. Instruction is presented to determine requirements to protect use groups, fire areas, and multi-story buildings.
