Description: A one day course examining and interpreting social and office communications in verbal, non-verbal, written, and virtual forms. This course defines and dramatizes self presentation, language and tone, writing methods, and the use/misuse of virtual communication

Learning Objectives: Students successfully completing Occupational Field Communications will:

Discover office roles and distinguishing the level and method of communication within perceived boundaries.
Utilize presentation, verbal and nonverbal skills to demonstrate a need in a respectful manner.
Analyze written communication in memo, business letter, cover letter and virtual communication (email) to provide business appropriate correspondence.
