Understanding the 2021 International Property Maintenance Code

Description: A two day (1.2 CEU) course examining the philosophy, attitudes and values surrounding property maintenance, utilizing drawings, previously encountered situations, and photographs as demonstration and teaching points in code requirements in support of community preservation.

Learning Objectives: Students successfully completing the 2021 International Property Maintenance Code will:

Identify and discuss the minimum requirements for plumbing, mechanical systems, and basic fire safety.
Compare and contrast procedures for administration of property maintenance programs based on data resulting from both well defined and poorly managed communities.
Analyze and apply enhanced property maintenance skills to code enforcement officials, inspectors, property managers and real estate assessment.
