Description: This one-day (0.6 CEU) course provides the basic skills necessary for reading blueprints, including schedules, architectural symbols, and the different sheets in a set of plans.

Learning Objectives: Students successfully completing Blueprint Reading for Permit Technicians will be able to:

Compare and contrast the different sheets in a set of plans, views, sections, and details
Differentiate the different types of architectural symbols
Examine and evaluate the submitted plans for accuracy and effectively communicate modifications needed.
