Course Description/Learning Objectives:

This one-day course (0.6 CEU) examines and discusses the basic layout of the International Family of Building Codes. Activities include being able to utilize the appropriate certification booklet to schedule, test and become certified, demonstrate how to properly use the table of contents, index and referenced standards of the International Codes to answer code questions, be introduced to and develop an understanding of test taking strategies related to taking multiple choice exams, and demonstrate how to properly identify “Key Word” and “Phrases” in a test question.
